Teach in specialises in placing teachers permanently across the UK. Our aim is to support Newly Qualified Teachers and more experienced teachers into their first or next permanent teaching role.

Rather than just finding teachers jobs, our teams work with NQTs, experienced teachers, overseas teachers and teaching assistants to find the perfect placement. We view ourselves as a long-term partner in a teacher’s career, helping them find that first fantastic teaching job, and then working with them as they progress along the career ladder. The Teach In team prioritises knowledge of their candidates, what their perfect placement looks like, and they work tirelessly to ensure the candidates get that job. They know the right questions to ask both schools and teachers to ensure they match teachers with the best possible school culture fit.

Teach in work in partnership with schools to find them permanent staff, whether that be Newly Qualified Teachers coming into the profession or more experienced teachers ready for their next role. Teach in run a series of ‘Interview Day’ events throughout the year to aid schools and teachers to find the right fit.

Our relationships with Universities across the UK and our local and virtual teaching events ensure a robust candidate pool is available at all times.

We also have a strong international candidate pool sourced by our Australian Office. These candidates can be shortlisted by viewing pre-recorded video interviews. This enables us to top up our teacher pool with skilled teaching professionals in a shortage market.

Teach in is committed to providing teachers and schools with quality permanent placements.

e-qualitas is our teaching training business and perfectly compliments our other services. We have trained over 5000 teachers during the last two decades. Our training business offers a variety of teacher training routes and our expert mentors and tutors have a wealth of experience to deliver top quality learning and development. We are proud of our track record boasting a 95% pass rate for our trainees.

We consult with schools to advise them on the best available training routes based on their current staffing requirements and funding. We also identify and train graduates who are seeking a teaching career and place them in our partner schools to complete their training. We also assist graduates who are already working within schools to complete their teacher training.

The courses we offer include:

  • Teaching Apprenticeship Programme

The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme makes it easy for schools to use their apprenticeship levy to attract, recruit and train the best graduates as home-grown teachers. We are the only privately endorsed provider of this programme.

The Programme provides a fee-free, salaried route for graduates to enter the teaching profession and gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within 1 year.

  • Schools Direct

This route is available for both primary and secondary teaching, and is run by individual schools or a group of schools.

Trainees who opt for a School Direct (salaried) training programme are employed as an unqualified teacher while they learn on the job. In some cases, this may be a school the trainee is already working at, or has an existing relationship with.

  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education

Trainees who complete our Teaching Apprenticeship programme have the option to combine this with studies to complete their PGCE.

  • Subject Knowledge Enhancement Course

We offer these courses to those graduates who are required to top up their knowledge to be offered a teacher training opportunity. The courses we currently offer include:

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  •  Physics.

The length of the course can vary from 8, 12 or 16-weeks depending on the teachers needs. Our courses are delivered online with a new course starting each week, meaning there are no barriers to starting immediately.
